CHROMA MUSEUM OF COLORS | BRANDING




Chroma is a color museum located in San Francisco. Chroma is a form of true celebration of colors. It was originally named Color Factory and was a pop-up interactive experience but developed into a full museum featuring a variety ways of celebrating colors from painting, interaction, psychological, and artistic to scientific aspect of colors and seeing colors.




Logo : Colors are used a lot in both designers and artist. The logo took inspiration from the idea of picking colors, sliding value of RGB, CMYK.








Design : During my research, I step upon a name list of all colors and I got impressed excited by how much spectrum of color there is and the names are very interesting because colors are subjective but at time can be use objectively. So I wanted to showcase the colors in a form of my brand.












Chroma hold an exhibition and artist talk by Carlos Cruz-Diez who is one of the great figures of kinetic-optic art. He is a contemporary theorist of color whose artistic proposal is based on four chromatic conditions: subtractive, additive, inductive and reflected color. His research has brought art into a new way of understanding the phenomenon of colour, greatly expanding its perceptual universe.
